Did they ever make a running example or purely as a R&D concept? A bit George Jetson.
The actual Buick Centurion which did come along a decade later but was nothing like the cocept infect is was pretty dull. Did they make it with a big block though... Not sure.
Any other knowledge on this car appreciated.

It was a Motorama exhibit, and they usually ran. Email the museum and ask them.
Chances are that underneath the crazy bodywork it was actually the chassis of a normal production car from somewhere in GM.
