What it says on the tin really. Two different cars but I like both. Only the smaller engined (2.0 non-VTEC not 2.2 VTEC) Prelude is an option due to insurance. Budget is around £3,000, though I've found what seems to be a decent Prelude for half of that with 60k miles on the clock.

For the Prelude:
4 seats - not that I need them unless I'm driving with friends on longer journeys (rare)
4WS

For the MX-5:
Loved the drive (haven't yet had a chance to drive Prelude)

Thoughts of the PH massive?

If you are looking for the epitome of cheap 2 seater sports car motoring there really is only 1 option. You will have more of a hoot in the MX and it weighs FAR less than the prelude....plus it looks a lot better.
