Not sure whether this belongs in General Gassing or not?

But what do you find to be the best interior cleaning product? I mean for cleaning the dash, door cards etc. Preferably leaving a pleasant aroma afterwards.

I used to like the foaming type but find they aren't that effective. The aerosol spray type ones just don't seem to give good coverage.

I tend to just use a damp cloth on the dashboard (esp if leather) and all around the console etc....

If you have leather seats and they need a revival try the hot towel trick and some liquid leather. It's the bomb.

I just use some warm water and biological washing powder. It's very cheap and if it can get skidmarks off y-fronts ought to be able to handle whatever a car interior can throw at it. If you want it to smell better I suppose you could put some fabric conditioner in too.

Einszett Cockpit Premium is pretty good, leaves a nice, but not too strong, citrus smell.

I've used Autoglym Interior Car Shampoo for years. Comes in a spray bottle, easy to use and the dirt that comes of is astonishing to say the least!

Autobrite FAB is now my product of choice for interiors for cleaning power and it leaves a very pleasant, fresh lavender fragrance behind. Works well on hard surfaces and fabrics, and dilutes up to 1:50 so goes a long way. Low foaming means it can be used in extraction machines too.

Indeed, even at 10:1 it can be a bit 'tingly' on the fingers. Follow it with Poorboy's Natural Look Dressing, makes any interior look nice and fresh.

used some autoglym interior shampoo i found in the garage this morning, it does the job, doesn't leave an aroma though. Always on offer somewhere, eg bogofs at halfords.
