Headed out for a quiet drive with the gf this afternoon. From Swansea on the M4 to Ammanford, up to the A4069 (Black Mountain Road). Stopped for an icecream on top, carried on down the other side and headed for Llandovery. Came back South on the 4067 and then cut onto the 465 to Neath and back to Swansea.

Saw a lot of nice metal with similar ideas. Spotted a red 458 Italia heading eastbound on the M4 just after the Llanelli turn off. A black 997 GT3 on top of the 4069 where we stopped for icecream (had a gold PH sticker). A white(ish) Gallardo Spyder followed by a dark coloured DB7 in Llandovery. A silver jag XK near trecastle on the A40. Also briefly followed a yellow RenaultSport Megane near Sennybridge. Spotted a similar jag XK on the 465 too.

I doubt any of them noticed my humble black Twingo GT. laugh

Anyone else go for a drive today?

Sounds fun.

However this is one of two days per year that I resolve to not drive an inch.

Which I'm greatly enjoying. biggrin

As above, sounds like a nice day but for me Easter Weekend and Driving must never be used in the same sentence.

No driving involved. Sipping a few bottles of cold beer.

Amazingly it was quiet out and only two police cars the whole time I was driving. Very relaxed trundle around. Seems everyone thought the same way as you guys.

Only if you've got a bumper car.

I've just come back from an awesome drive. The A331 between Alton and Basingstoke was near deserted, so much so, I turned around and did it again. I was only out for just over an hour and wish I had more time.

I went to work then came back again, does that count?

The M6 was quieter than I've ever seen it at 5:30am, was quieter than expected at 2pm too. I assume it will be gridlocked tomorrow though. frown

Just got back from Gloucester to north of Durham in a little over three hours! M1 very quiet. Happy to see the A1M widened bit from Leeming to Dishforth is open, too. I've avoided that whole stretch for so long I'd almost forgotten to check when it was finished, any know when it was completed?

Just a couple of tootles around local lanes - good to be out of the house.

Had a extended hoon around my local area, just taking whatever roads took my fancy.
Saw a F40 and F355 Challenge (well it looked like one, had a black rear spoiler) obviously out doing the same as well.
biggrin

Just got back from a trip to Worthing from Bexhill and the roads were full of idiots on the way to Worthing around 3pm. It was full of idiots deciding to do 35mph in a 60 and crawling around large roundabouts at 15mph frown At least the traffic wasn't as busy as it usually is so they all got overtaken..
