I am starting to get itchy feet with the Jag, had it nearly 3 years.

there is nothing to fault does everything perfect its a December 2007 car

so what do I replace it with ?? what ever it is will be the Jag plus a few quid

Well the child in me says something stupid, but it must seat 5 and have a boot that can carry lots of sports gear from the kids I also coach rugby to kids in my spare time so have kit and bags or balls on sundays to move about

I am thinking CAYENNE TURBO S from about 2004/5 era yes I know thats older than the Jag and the miles will be higher, but they seem to be sub £15k now..... Jag XF is off the list had one last weekend, great car, dont get me wrong but something did not click with me

any thoughts or comments on Cayenne's or other suggestions ?

like I said itchy feet so just working ideas over, maybe I will keep the Jag for another year or 2 and keep looking to find a car that I click with

thanks in advance

Cheers

XK-R love to but no way could I use the rear seats, I need to stuff 2 teenagers accross the back and 1 in front when we go out as a family having 6 kids is great but not always great for a 2 door car....

Left field would be a Vauxhall VXR-8, or a Holden HSV import?

Sister had a Cayenne Turbo S for a couple of years, it was a replacement for a Disco. It was, fuel consumption aside, brilliant. She rides horses, and hubby coaches the 5 a side boys, and it got used for everything - it even pulled a horsebox. It took kids, dogs, the lot, and as far as i know it didnt miss a beat. I distinctly remember 13mpg consumption figures though!
She got rear ended on the M4 by a 7.5T scaffolding truck, which wrote the car off, unsurprisingly. And this is the bit where I say she walked away without a scratch - unfortunately, not so. She broke a bone in her back and is still in for operations and physio 4 or 5 years later. (But she is still better off than if she'd been in a smaller car, IMO.)

Sorry to hear about your sister, I hope she makes full recovery.

I can live wiht low MPG as its a weekend car not a daily hack, I used to have a MG ZT-T SE260 so know about low MPG
