I've got enough here to scrape a real bottom of the range Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

I haven't got enough for running costs etc.

Do I go and stick 10k on red/black and see if I can really end up getting one?

If I lose... well perhaps it wasn't meant to be!

Any thought? Am I bonkers?

+10 lad points if you do. Although I'd only do 5 grand on Red or black..... Go with Red smile

I lost a considerable amount on a shall I save it or potentially double it instance a couple of months ago.

V8 is reliable enough, and at this age most of the niggles of early cars would have been sorted, go for it !

I'd rather put 1k on 10 different numbers. Red and black never seems to go well... for me anyway.

Do it....ask the casino to remove the '0' (they might do it for a one off big bet) and put it all on red. If you win then STOP!

I did this in Vegas. I had a gambling budget and a touristy budget. I'd worked out I had about $700 left overso on the last night had a few drinks and a meal for $200 then put the remaining $500 on red. It came in and I blew the winnings over the next 12 hours! That was a long flight home!

To do it with £10000 would take some bottle!

Hmmm

I will ponder.

At the end of the day I dont need the cash to survive. I probably do need an Aston to survive.

Or shall I get a 20k Range Rover Sport.

If I do it, I'll try and record it somehow too for the bants.

Which casino would you be doing it at?

In Sheffield we have 2 Napoleons and a Grovensor (sp?) casino and the maximum bet is 5k i think.

Do it - on black.

If you can absorb it and lose, so be it.

If you win - what a story for the kids!

Do stop though regardless of win/lose.

Wowsers. You'd become a bit of a legend if you did that. Even more so if you actually won.

I'm not a gambling man ( rofl 646 bets in last 30 days according to Betfair records ) but if I was, I would put it all on red... I mean black... no, wait, red... black... red... blred... reack! Let me have a think.

Actually, I have done this... I put it all on red...

... and I won!

... only £25 though...

... and it was a free bet...

... Results may vary.

Gamble on a £10k V8 and if/when it goes wrong break it and aim for £20k of parts and then fund a better V8 ;-)

Do it, stick the £10K on red.

If you lose, stick £20K on red.

If you lose, stick £40K on red.

You can't lose..! biggrin
