Should have just said you are a private parking enforcement company and you need to know where to send the ticket. You would have got a result in the next post.

Keep trying - the car is on the road, so there's hope.

I will keep trying I have heard that she is in the nottingham area.. so have been looking up VW forums on Notts !!

May write to DVLA again enclosing a letter for them to forward on to current owner, someone there may have a heart .... hahhahahahahahaha

Thanks for keeping us updated, been quite curious of the outcome for all this.

I didn't think you'd have any luck with the DVLA to be honest but thought it was still worth a try.

I'd try some of the owners clubs if I were you - plenty of forums around which you could post on there as well.
You just missed the biggest VW show a couple of weekends ago as well frown

That is really your best option ( your first attempt was a non starter and DVLA were correct to refuse) -DVLA can't hide behind DPAct on forward letter - BUT it is still all at DVLA discretion
I think for car park company trick you may need to be VAT registered

Try putting a post on VZI, If the car is on the road then they will most probably know.

Just brace yourself for when the pictures of Daisy are posted, she may not have aged well.

Hi, i am looking for "Daisy" as hubby worked so hard on her bring her back to life etc..... we adored her but when i was made redundant we were forced to sell her which is something that we deeply regret.
I know she is probably wih her new owner who loves her very much but would just like to ask them that should they ever wish to sell her that they call us first. wink

Have you thought of using a private investigator who may be able to gain access to dvla / mid information and lead you to the car?

Write to the dvla, send the cheque and say something along the lines of your car got nudged in the car park and a witness said that that vehicle had something to do with it so would like their address to get in contact with them.

Good luck!
