I can't decide whether to fly, take the M Roadster or take a veggie-oil powered Escort van.

I am in Monaco now and compared to most places my hotel is cheap, maybe 150 euros a night. Look for the Adagio Monti Cristo.

Stay in nearby caravan sites for the weekend. It's still early season and cheap and far more comfortable than sleeping in the van.
I stayed in Biot and caught the excellent train service in.

I'm a courier and have a matress in the back where I regularly spend the night, so there will be no discomfort.

Last time (2010), I slept in my Smart car in a car park at the far end of Monaco (26 Euros for 48 hours ). I had converted the car so there was a bed where the passenger seat should have been.

At the moment, my brain is over-ruling my heart and I'll be taking the van along with 220 litres of veggie oil.
