Definitely true of mk2 owners. And probably mk3.

Mk1 owners are the enthusiasts so we're excluded from the MX5 stereotypes yes

This is my ex-car (my very first sports car, that I traded against a 120.000 km. Golf 1)... A 1993 LE imported from Canada methinks... 1 of 300 or something.

The very thing that made that car "cool" was my favorite roadster combo of black/red.

I never thought I looked cool in it, but I would defend it by all means as it really was a properly good drivers car and thus, I rocked it with pride!

Miss it.

No, mk1s are still gay.

I wish it wasn't so, but it is. I don't make the rules.

I have to admit... I carefully picked my clothes the days I drove my Mk1... I wouldn't want to give too many gay vibes to my surroundings, right biggrin

Indeed. All MX5s regardless of model or performance are gay.

Enshrined in law. Well, almost.
