Usually when it comes to getting new tyres I usually waste a couple of hours or so hanging round a Kwik-Fit on a Saturday morning, but the other day I rang up and got a mobile fitter to come and do it at work. Wow! What a revelation, why have I never done this before? And what a great service. smile

I feel part of 21st Century living now. hehe

Yeah, I know, cool starry bra etc.

I've used Event Tyres for years. Never heard a bad word about them, and absolutely faultless work every time.

If it was Event Tyres then welcome to the club - used them for the last dozen set of tyres and find them superb. Very nearly the cheapest but with outstanding service at the same time

+1 for Event tyres here too, used them last year for the first time, came to my office, just handed them the key's 1/2 hours later job done, and cheapest at the time too.

I used Event Tyres or Black Circles for tyres on the Porsche for the past 5 years... both are excellent.

Good stuff. Had never considered one of these before, but may do now.

Event tyres do cover my work area, unfortunately not home - but I'm sure I can make it work.

I once used the mobile service of one of the national chains (not KF). The chap was very good, and had to deal with some particularly stubborn MB tyre pressure sensors, but using that service meant that none of their special offers were available. Which was quite a pain, fitting four new Michelins to an S-Class!

sounds good, but they are quite a bit more expencive for my front tyres than a few other places frown

Try using a local independent company as well, normally very similar in price, but without the fancy websites, so you have to pick up the phone to book in.
