I use a Pela pump, the 6000 I think it is. Highly recommended.

One tip though, get it from a boat chandlers, as it seems to be cheaper from there than the usual motoring outlets.

Could these be used for oil changes as opposed to draining from the sump plug? Seems like it would be worth the money after a few uses or using on multiple cars in a household?

Also, where can you dispose of old oil these days? As far as I know, most council "recycling facilities" no longer accept waste oil...

i've got the pela 6000 - bought it from marinescene.co.uk

it's not the quickest oil change - but it means I can do it without jacking the car up, removing undertrays, etc. Can also use it on the lawnmower wink
