This pic dates to about 1979 but the cars are likely old even for then...

I'm reckoning I see an early Honda Civic(Blue)? and a Renault 4(White)? but the rest I'm not sure exactly what they are (Fiat and an VW perhaps?)...

I'm sure someone here will know make/model/year

p.s. if it helps, they're teachers cars smile

Beige is a Fiat 127, the remaining one looks like is an NSU (Prinz?).

Also, the blue one looks more like an Accord than a Civic.

Isn't the red one a Hillman Imp?

Bingo.

My parents had a new Renault 4 back in the day, and my grandparents a NSU Prinz. That was a lovely car. White with red leather - and very nice it looked too.

Not a million miles away but now someone has mentioned the NSU Prinz it probably is one of those, were they common over here?

The red one could be a Singer Chamois:

Apart from the front, they look near enough exactly the same, lol! Did the design team run out of inspiration?

It's not apparent from your pics, but the Imp has a much higher roof compared to waistline, and the rear screen shape is pretty distinguishing.

Pretty sure it's a Prinz 4 - those front lights with the strip inbetween are a giveaway.

Ta for the help thusfar!

Well, its a picture of an Imp taken straight from Google and I haven't photoshopped it? From the distance and resolution of the original photo I don't think its unreasonable to suggest the red car is an Imp, a Chamois or a Prinz. I think it is a Prinz though.

Hang on there, I wasn't suggesting you had done anything of the sort! I'm just saying that it was instantly recognisable as an NSU.

Mk1 Accords were 3 or 4 door only (says Wikipedia) wheras that looks 5 door to me which makes it a Civic I think...
