Cheapest historical fuel prices found on Streetview
Discussion
Just been have a look around Google Streetview and noticed a petrol station with petrol at 89.9p (so streetview images around 5+ years ago)

Just as a bit of fun can anyone spot older and cheaper fuel prices advertised?

Can't beat that, although I think you'd be surprised how recently it was <90p a litre, it was certainly around that level 3 years ago (after the dip from the first >£1 spike in 2008).
Google mapping the Shell garage in Carlisle shows unleaded at 92.9 and diseasel at 100.9, I'd say this would have been march/april 2009.
edit - found a view from Penrith at 88.9!

No wonder they're out of business
Thinking that the earliest imagery still used might be the first locations they covered but not yet updated I have been looking at London, imagery dated July 2008, but it's up at 119.9 - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Carlisle+Rd,+Londo...
Need to find/think of somewhere they did early on but outside a big city I think.
