VCDS / VAG-COM in Portsmouth, UK

Has anyone got one and willing to read some codes for me? My A3 (05 2.0 TDi) is going into limp mode under strain (mainly overtaking on motorways uphill) and also have an emissions and lighting warnings..
I have booked into JKM but want to try and sort some stuff myself.
I live in Portsmouth!
