Was thinking of a 4x4 but my GF has just bought a sweet Pajero Junior that will suit for the winter snow but I want bigger car/MPV/Estate to use on trips with the gf and the 3 dogs.

Preferably something with loads of space inside so I can put my bikes inside and not have to use a bike rack, not too expensive to run. Quirky looking or unusual/uncommon would be a bonus.

So far am looking at the following but would appreciate some other views as I am drawing a blank:

Chrysler Grand Voyager
Chrysler PT Cruiser
Mitsubishi Delica or Pajero LWB
Honda SMX

PT Cruiser not my first choice, As I said my mind is going blank.

Any actual recommendations rather than criticisms?

Tbh out of you list I. Would only consider the delica, however these are getting on abit now so not sure I would take the risk myself. You would easily get a 2001 shape ford galaxy for that money though, probably not a diesel but there's even a 2.8 4wd variant! All the back seats come out so lots of room when needed!

Variant of the Galaxy with 4WD you mean? Thanks for that, just what I need being able to take out seats.

Something with 4x4 would be great but I think I am wanting something big and roomy, so I can just sling in a bike or 2 if I want to go to a show or on a ride without having to faff with roofbars or a rack. I have done my back in, so a car with a lowish loading area or side doors like on a Galaxy or similar would suit perfectly
