I'm a happy bunny as I've just secured my weekend tickets for Chris Evans's CarFest for the August bank holiday. It sold out within an hour when tickets went on sale at 8 o clock this morning! Sadly, like most ticket agents, they stitched me up on the price as a weekend ticket was £75 in all and a Saturday or Sunday £60. Guess what? I was unable to buy weekend tickets as they were'sold out'. Funny as I then bought the separate days at an extra cost of £90.

That really annoys me as its supposed to be for charity and yet peopel are selling them on eBay and gaining from that. Disgusting.

Tickets secured. The weekend camping tickets went in 8 minutes. I guess there is limited camping space hence the ability to buy two day passes.

I wouldn't say stitched up as you have a choice to buy or not to buy.

I'm going on the Sunday, very happy as this gives me a reason to get the TVR and bike back on the road.

I see your point and it is valid. It bugs me when there are weekend tickets promoted when they really are selling such a tiny quantity. There was a TV prog about it a few weeks back. It leaves a lot less for spending at the event which is just as important for the charity.
