I'm a happy bunny as I've just secured my weekend tickets for Chris Evans's CarFest for the August bank holiday. It sold out within an hour when tickets went on sale at 8 o clock this morning! Sadly, like most ticket agents, they stitched me up on the price as a weekend ticket was £75 in all and a Saturday or Sunday £60. Guess what? I was unable to buy weekend tickets as they were'sold out'. Funny as I then bought the separate days at an extra cost of £90.

Tickets secured. The weekend camping tickets went in 8 minutes. I guess there is limited camping space hence the ability to buy two day passes.
I wouldn't say stitched up as you have a choice to buy or not to buy.
I'm going on the Sunday, very happy as this gives me a reason to get the TVR and bike back on the road.

I see your point and it is valid. It bugs me when there are weekend tickets promoted when they really are selling such a tiny quantity. There was a TV prog about it a few weeks back. It leaves a lot less for spending at the event which is just as important for the charity.I wouldn't say stitched up as you have a choice to buy or not to buy.
