Looking for a new head unit to replace current Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68 in my VW.

Needs to have -
iPhone/iPod playback via Bluetooth (bluetooth streaming works really well IME).
Phone integration via bluetooth
DAB
Link up to steering wheel controls (nice to have but not essential).

The above all work well on the Blaupunkt but the controls are fiddly (nasty menu based system), the phone quality is iffy at best, the display is hard to read.

I'd like to add DAB. What's available? I'm expecting to need an ariel as well - the car has an in-screen antenna that's hopeless with the blaupunkt for FM anyway.

I'd also add that I'd prefer it NOT to have a CD deck - haven't played a CD since I've had the Blaupunkt.

This is a very good package, and works a treat, especially the Bluetooth

It's a shame the BT isn't integrated - it makes 'sense' on the Blaupunkt to use the same controls as you would for the CD player to skip.

Any views on the Kenwood KDC-DAB4551U? Parrot made BT unit which is encouraging (has adjustable gain for mic, noise reduction and echo cancellation) and uses on unit controls for using the phone or controlling BT streaming. Works out about £100 more expensive once the BT adaptor and CANBUS integration are included but if the phone quality is better i'd pay.
