Which project to satisfy car cravings?!?

I need a new car or something to get stuck into as ive not done anything for a while - previous projects include a bit of racing and a kit car.

Just a bit of fun I'm wondering what others think, my current ideas are:

Engine transplant on my classic mini - I'm not too technical but do like a challenge so maybe a vtec conversion

Supercharger conversion on mk1 mx5

Or just keep it simple and swap my daily for an e46 m3,

Appreciate they all pretty different but just seeing what other people think / if anyone has done anything similar

I think a supercharged Mk1 MX5 would be a good project, engine swaps for big lumps in a Mini always strike me as pointless - so much effort only to spoil the handling.

Course, an M3 is never a bad thing.
