Just seen this advertised in this weeks autocar £20 for tickets and I quote
"an unmissable weekend of world class action including the autocar supercar paddock"

I've had a glance online www.cpop.co.uk seems to be some reasonable metal going plus fireworks display plus music in the evening

Has this been on before?
Anyone going?
Is it any good?

Been running a few years now. Its normally a month later, but Cholmondeley couldn't get enough marquees and portable toilets due to some event called 'the Olympics', so they have had to hold it a bit earlier this year.

I will be attending again with the club. Despite it being very wet on the Saturday and Sunday last year, it didn't put me off, and I will be camping there Thursday through to Sunday again. Very enjoyable weekend and the Sat evening concert and fireworks were better then I expected.

If you attend as part of a club, there are some very good discounts on tickets on offer if you book early, though I believe the deadline for booking a club pitch may have now passed.

it is worth heading to, especially if you are based futher North, as if you added up the cost to get to Goodwood, you'd be spending a lot more! Of course, it is nowhere near the experience of Goodwood, but there really isn't much not to like. Last year there were some tasty cars and a few other decent places to browse.

I wouldn't say you need to go to the whole weekend, but as a day out, especially if the weather is nice, its hard to beat.

Brilliant day out...lots do do, some serious metal being driven with enthousiasm, aerobatic displays, power boats...whats not to like?

I grew up very near Cholmondeley and supported the event since its inception. Despite being blighted by precipitation annually, they always attract some stunning machinery and are very fortunate to have the blessing of the Donington Collection so always feature some special cars from Kevin(formerly Tom)'s collection. Looking forward to this year's event.
