Do you like to keep your boot empty with well hoovered carpets or is your boot full of st? If so, how much crap do you carry around with you?

Typically it's only got an umbrella and a book or two, never know if I'll get caught in a massive tailback with nothing to do. I don't tend to carry much crap in my car (apart from myself, I'm full of it).

Spotless.
Her indoors on the other hand looks like a rubbish dump. (Well, it is a rubbish dump).

I'm sure you aren't - I had to replace a tail light bulb for a lass at work the other day - took me 10 mins to empty the boot 30 secs to replace the bulb and then 5 mins to load it all back in (after she said just throw it in that's what I do)

Dashboard - "in-car stereo" (2 pc speakers), screwdrivers, wheelnut socket, torch, scraper and usually half a dozen tickets from race meetings, steam fairs etc
Centre seat - half a dozen sheavess of directions from long journeys, magazines, Haynes and land rover repair manuals and a tool tray

Rear seating area (boot) - In the back I have workboots, overalls, an old waterproof wax jacket, clutch claw, tyre sealant, engine oil, gearbox oil, redex, antifreeze, and a holdall full of towropes, shackles, winching gloves, traction boards and hi vis clothing.

Its all "just in case" stuff biggrin

At the moment I have 5 new flame proof overalls, I also gave the kitchen a deep clean yesterday filling 4 black bags. They are in the boot.

Usually though, its hoovered, immaculate and only has a brolley and a tartan rug

Wouldn't say junk, but looking in the Rangie this evening shows sleeping bag, 2 umbrellas, duct tape, maglight, Timberlands, Driving trainers, assorted north face fleeces and jackets, wax jacket, rugby boots, waterproof trousers, Fold up chairs, flask, football, rugby ball, first aid kit, nav, binoculars, radio, camera, rug, bin bags, various mapbooks, gym bag, boxing gloves and a pile of assorted under clothing etc..basically I try and keep as much useful stuff in it as possible. Mainly because it tends to get taken to places and events where I will need these things. Ideally I would have nothing in it. However the Corrado and BMW are virtually empty at all times

I used to carry all sorts of crap in the boot of my car but now I only have my site gear that I need for work.

I regularly have to fold the seats and use all the load space for carrying my RC gear for a race meeting. This helps keep the boot tidy as its ball ache to keep emptying random crap out.
