No, not mine. I might have a deal on the car linked below but I'm unsure of them and it's value.
It's priced I think to reflect the bits added but is it about right?

Seems a bit rich to me modified cars are not generally worth much more than a standard one hence why most choose to sell the parts off them before selling. Personally wouldnt want to pay more than around 8 - 8,500 for that myself can get a standard ones for a little over 6,000 now...
This has sold but it was 2.5k cheaper and only about 15bhp less and similar age and millage...

This is what I'm thinking. Something I forgot to mention was that it was mentioned it will return mid to high thirty mpg. Seems almost stupid to think about economy with a car like this but there you go.
Cant see that happening unless you drive like a saint off boost and if are looking at a stage 3 dont think that will really reflect your driving style more like high 20's I would say...Lovely cars though would serriously consider one myself when I am 21 in a years time if can get them for mid 5's by then

Don't buy a car like this if MPG is your concern. You will almost certainly never see those kind of figures. If the seller has indeed seen such figures, I bet they were an contemporaneous read out on the trip computer with the car on the rollers, 50mph indicated in 6th gear
Not meaning be nasty, but you'd have to be mental to blow £10k on a car like that when there are so many fantastic performance cars available.
As for economy, I think the Ashtray is fairy good compared to the other turbo hatches. But I think you need to realistically budget 30-32mpg tops and less if you use the power. Also remember tweaked turbo cars generally need super unleaded, this costs more and pence per mile wise means you need to knock a couple of mpg off to get an equivalent compared to other cars running 95 RON.
If you want a fast frugal Vauxhall you might want to consider a VX220 2.2 n/a
If you really want a frugal turbo hatch then maybe a smart Brabus ForFour would s
t better. It's sub 1100kg curb weight means it can attain 35-40mpg and be mapped to a healthy 210hp (very good power to weight). That said any turbo car will like a drink of you actually use the turbo.

Sat on the motorway I could get low 40's out of it!!
And the car in the ad is overpriced, it's an undesirable colour for a VXR aswell, it's worth no more than £8k if it's in mint condition.
I don't know what it is about Astra VXR's. I should be thinking about one as my next car but I really cannot get excited about it. I should be, 200BHP+, almost practical, but I'd much rather have a Renaultsport Megane or Leon Cupra R if it had to be a hot hatch. i just find Astra VXR's rather uninspiring!

Drive the VXR, they stop being uninspiring when you feel the more 'old skool' power delivery compared to the Megane and the Seat. Nice bit of lag then a big hit of boost, it's just more fun
One of my friends has an Astra VXR and it's a great car, agree with the comment above about the old school character, definitely feels like a car from an older era, in a good way though.
If you want old school from a (fairly) modern car then you could do a lot worse than a REVO stage 2 Cupra R 225. 270bhp, nothing below 3000rpm, a fair old bit of lag and an absolutely vicious surge of acceleration once the boost kicks in, makes the VXR look progressive

Great cars, the lot of them though, Cupra R, VXR, Megane, not a bad one in the bunch.
