Reported an untaxed car?

About 8 weeks ago a s
t box of an 80's Mazda appeared in the road just down from my house, I've lived there 18 months and I've never seen it before. It looks like a pit inside but is fitted with a recent 6x9s and stereo.
Walking past one day I noted it has no tax disc so checked it out online and it had the last one refunded in Nov 2010 but has clearly been in regular use since, which also means no ins or MOT as far as I can see. This pissed me off so I reported it online.
6 weeks on and nothing, no police notice on the car and it hasn't moved an inch.
I'm now considering going sans MOT, ins and Tax as its obviously fine to do so. Any one else successfully reported an untaxed heap?

She recently had all the garden professionally landscaped with a big new wall and gates etc. She even has CCTV around the house!
Anyway she must have lived in Spain at some point, and maybe the loophole she uses is that possibly she still has a property there. But she lives here and is home pretty much all year round as far as I can see - her car is always in the drive.
The car is a BMW X3, and since I first saw it in 2007, it had, and still has Spanish plates on it now. Therefore has no UK road tax paid on it ever, despite her using it every day. It's left hand drive so I guess she bought it in Spain.
I thought that if you brought a car into the UK and used it for over 12 months you had to register it and pay road tax here.
She's been getting away without paying tax for at least 4 years somehow...it's kept on a driveway, so maybe that helps, and as I said before is possibly still registered to a Spanish address she owns or has relatives at.

foreign registered cars do not show up on the DVLA system, I have had hundreds of Polish/ Romanian etc. By law they have to be reregistered in the UK after (I think three months) but as usual with cuts there is nobody to follow up and with most vehicles the DVLA are unaware they are in the country (along with the drivers). I reported it on the DVLA website two years ago but nothing's changed, so she obviously uses a loophole to carry on taking the piss...What I would do in this occasion (and I am known for being a sh*t). I would check her mail and get her details and as she has obviously forgotten, I would register it for her. Information/ application pack available from DVLA. Just 'forget' to include payment and let them follow her up for that!

I've reported a neighbours car, they parked in such a way it meant i could'nt get in the driveway.
The road is so narrow that where they parked cars could barely get past & you'd often see people swearing as they tried to squeeze past & they'd regularly beep their horn but the wker would just watch people from inside the house.
I did'nt say anything for a couple of months, so just waited for his tax disk to be out of date then reported it via the DVLA site.
I hav'nt seen the car since!

Besides, it's a story about a car, so if it has to go on the internet - this is the place for it, right?Only reason I am so familiar, is that her house is next door to my business, so I saw the situation every single day - and every single day, it boiled my piss.
Also, as said, she's a local busybody who comes out to moan at anything she doesn't like - she doesn't work, so spends her days worrying about what goes on in the vicinity of her house. Cars parking in the yard to the side? Straight into my shop - 'who's car is this, it's parked illegally in a private yard - you'd better move it or I'll call the police...'
Put your wheelybin out the night before collection day? Oh, she doesn't like that - she pops out later and moves it back...'it's illegal to put these bins out the night before and it makes the street look untidy' apparrently...
So we have to put up with all her moaning AND the fact that she blatantly avoids paying the tax that the rest of us have to.
See why it annoys me so much now??!!
