Been looking for something more economical than my 3.1td Bighorn for my 25 mile a day commute and found myself counting £20 notes to perhaps purchase this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...
I need something with 4 seats and less juicy, this fits the bill and could be fun along the way too no?

It looks rather bouncy, though I guess that may be a good thing as you are more likely to drive slowly which means less fuel used.

Clever car, no wheels and even less suspension. Are you fond of your spine at all?

Would give the coilovers a few twists upwards I think. How much worse than a MX5 will it be? (Never had a car with coilovers before)

I think i've actually glanced at this car driving, or rather 'cruising', around wellingborough. Seems tidy enough, but it doesn't like speed bumps.

Was wondering why that was so cheap and then i saw the mileage.

providing there are plenty of receipts and service history i would have thought it'd be a good punt.

My Golf is running at least as low as that. The big bumps are not a problem its the little bump that rattle your fillings loose. I love it though and its not as bad as people make out. If you wound the coils up the damping would be better.

I think it looks like a great daily. Though it will be rubbish in the snow, wet, speed bumps etc.

I think it looks like it would be a good buy - however I'd want it looking standard: I'd get some standard GTI alloys on eBay and then flog the black ones on it, and would raise the suspension.
