Enjoying the rain!

Had to do a few miles yesterday, it was pissing down but a bright day. It was all on A+B roads and I had a blast! Some fun oversteer moments and scrabbling for traction. The roads were all but dead making passing simple.
Ok motorways are horrible in the rain but a good back road can be fun.

I had kingstar tyres on the rear of one of mine for a while, was hilarious in the wet.

It's a bit like driving in the depths of winter, when even on a nice dry, crisp day the roads seem to have a layer of perma-damp.

I always remember the rather comedic transformation that my MX5 went through, from underpowered and a little soggy, to hilariously slidey in the wet! I'm sure when properly set up with some decent tyres they don't do it, but it livened up many a drive home.

Soon as I get the 924 sorted I'm looking forward to a few damp days!
