I agree with Tim....what M3 does over 200mph in standard form even after being delimited?

I am pretty sure they can only reach 190mph whan the limiter is removed unless its been seriously fettled with!

I can only assume DILIMITED is different from delimited, and actually means a technical arrangement of ropes and pulleys that slingshot it to over 210 mph. Either that or he's exaggerating, but I cant believe anyone would do that on a car advert....would they??

170ish sounds about right.. I think you would have to double the power to be getting onto 210 though

Taken from the very reliable wiki hehe

E46 performanceThe M3's S54 naturally aspirated engine produces 343 PS (252 kW; 338 hp) / 3.2-litre.

EURO Models

343 PS (252 kW; 338 hp) @ 7900 rpm
Torque: 365 N·m (269 lb·ft) @ 4900 rpm
0-100 km/h (62 mph) — 5.1 s for manual and SMG, 5.5 s for cabriolet
1/4 Mile — 13.3 s @ 104 mph (167.4 km/h)
Top Speed: 155 mph (249 km/h)(electronically limited); 191.38 mph (308.00 km/h) (delimited)

A nice example of an advert that I would skim straight past without even giving it a second glance. The laziness of some people when they try and sell a car beggars belief!

I agree to say he is selling a nice car you would think there would be some effort put into the advert.

why can this go so fast delimited when the last M5 of that era could only get 186MPH delimited...

And even then it only lasted circa 10-15 mins before it blew.

not a single E46 m3 (without serious modification) in the would would do 190mph, I had a M3 CSL which has slightly more power than a standard M3 and that would do around 165-170, that was de-limited
