Bit of a 'what car next' conundrum at the moment.

Before we start, this is going to be perceived as a show off post by some - in which case you should click 'back' now and save us all the 'amusement'....

So, I've had.. pretty much everything so far outside of hypercar-dom, just sold my 430 and Gallardo, 2-11 is for sale (you know you want one, it's great), X5 is going, will probably keep the Integrale (only use it a few times a year but what a car!), and in part I sold the 430 etc because I am bored with spending a fortune on road cars I haven't the opportunity to use properly. I've got a 458 race car and that gives me everything I need in terms of properly fast stuff, and I've got some bikes which are FFFFast for going - well - fast on the road. 700bhp per tonne even with my fat body on it will take some beating by a car smile

Anyway, to the point - having decided that the new Boxster is plenty fast enough for the road, I still can't quite decide whether to go ahead with one. Other options are to by a 2nd hand M3 Cab (I know, but I like convertibles, the majority of my driving time is not spent blatting on B roads, and I want something comfy, lairy and available with DSG or the like...) and wait for the new F type which looks lovely, or... say bks to it, buy a V12 Vantage and a Clio/Scirocco or something as an everyday-er. Slightly defeating the not wasting huge amounts of money on cars thing but there we go. I'm a member of a car club anyway (Ecurie25) which means I can drive supercars as and when the need/desire strikes...

Oh, what to do!? I know that I'd like the Aston for a bit but then be put off by the rubbish associated with it (and the expense), and then regret having wasted 20-30k doing 8k miles in one. The Boxster is lovely but it is a Boxster and I'm not sure I can bear that, plus they're bloody expensive - £62k with reasonable (not outlandish!!) options. M3 could carry me about for a bit, not cost too much and they're fun, and then could buy the Jag when it comes out.

Hmm.

Thoughts?
