I am after a bit of advice. I think my wife drive through some paint on her way to work. It is on one tyre, then it has sprayed up one site. It is white paint, on a black car, and feels rubbery like emulsion.

She tried washing the car today but the paint hasn't come off. Any tips for removal of the white paint please?

Thanks

Try a bit of WD40 on it.

Clay bar will probably shift this without to much problem

Spray the affected area with Nitromores paint remover, should do the trick.

Thanks for the advice. Won't WD40 leave a greasy mark?

I thought about clay bar but it would look a bit odd if I only did patches, or one side of the car wouldn't it? And I don't really want to have to do the car, particularly as that would mean removing the roof bars, but I guess it might be the only way.

Clay barring's not that critical - just do the panel and get the paint off, do the rest some other time but you certainly don't need to worry about taking off roof bars, it's not like respraying, or even polishing.
