So I was meandering around the web the other day and found these images of a supposed 1930s Rolls Royce concept cabriolet that never made it to production.








I think it's one the better looking concept cars, especially for the 30s (if it is from the 30s, could be 50s I suppose). Sadly there wasn't much info about it, but certainly looks much better than that hideous Phantom of today.

Well I personally think it's a bit uggo but with those retractable headlights I can forgive it anything!

At the time there would have been no 'concept' or 'production' RRs. One would purchase the chassis and have your coachbuilder of choice clothe it.

I agree, they could never have manufactured a windscreen minus frame then. also the body curves were just beyond production capabilities of the ers.

A great looking car all the same. Oh, and the plates are US.
