Me too, I think they're great little cars.

The OPs looks like a superb example, too.

Welcome! wavey.

Stunning car!

I would love one of these as my next car (currently in a standard 1.7) but the running costs of keeping one mint when it's your daily scares me a lttiel bit. And I would feel terrible if I bought one and let it get ratty.

Cheers for the welcome everyone, Running costs havent been astronomical but she has had a new exhaust system last year which cost a few pennies as parts are no longer available from ford, other than that in the three years ive had this one its been no more than a standard puma to maintain.
Its been the daily drive for a while now but im looking at buying a new car and tucking her away at the end of the year to totally restore it to former glory. Plus the mileage has crept up to 53k, not bad for a 12 year old car but i dont want it getting much higher. I know some will think its only a puma but its a rare beast and prices go up aswell as down on rare fords like this.

Well its only going to be to get to and from work and around york so as i work at the local ford dealer i was looking at maybe getting another new fiesta zetec-s or waiting a bit longer for the ST model which will be out early next year. Love my small fords ive had numerous fiestas and racing pumas.
