suzuki dl 1000 restricted 06 on know how

hi guys maybe someone out there knows how they restricted these v strom dl 1000s after 2006 and how i can derestrict mine, my old 2003 did 150mph this 08 stops pulling at 130mph and know that suzuki or the goverment have restricted these bikes for a reason any one got any ideas

You're in the wrong forum, Biker Banter is where you need to be.

The top speed for a DL1000 is about 130mph, I suspect your earlier model had an inaccurate speedometer

nope, i had a 2003 model and that stopped pulling at 150 so does my brothers 2005 model and yes i should of put this in biker banter lol cheers anyway.

Sadly, unless you've had it calibrated its not. The top speed of the DL1000 is about 130mph as said previously. Get a GPS to test our the theory.
Why would anyone restrict a bike at the top 20mph of their speed (answer: they wouldnt).
