Seen a BMW M3 convertible with, I presume, the original number plate (certainly it's not a personal one).

It starts PO02 XXX (forget what the "x"s are now).

I can't understand anyone collecting their brand new fifty thousand pound BMW, finding it has been registered "POO 2", and accepting that!

Also seen OAF, OAP, SAD, and a few others. Amazes me people are happy to accept these on a brand new car (appreciate buying secondhand you get what you're given).

Any other good accidentally inappropriate plates out there?

I thought DU11xxx number plates were really unfortunate last year, you've saved up (or bought on dreaded finance, boo, hiss etc) for a brand new car, waited excitedly until March 1st, and then you get 'dull' written on it.

To the OP though, my Dad actually went out and bought an OAP number plate for his weekend car, I think he's fully embraced his pensioner status...

Theres a (Zafira I think) car near me with the number plate KL51 UTT, on a bright blue car it stands out a mile (to me at least) reading KILL SLUTT

There's a white Audi A5/S5 drop-top regularly parked outside my office with a reg along the lines of PO09POO.

Bright yellow mini convertible driven by a blonde with the registration number:

There's a car in our street with the reg R3 NOB. That's bad enough but it's worse when you realise what it reads in your rear view mirror!

There's one of those hideous MINI 4x4 things with a plate that ends in "UGH"...... it has a big droopy mouth and it seems like that sentiment is precisely what it's trying to express.

On Facebook the other day, one of my friends (who is a bit of a loser) was tagged in a photo of a Focus saloon with the numberplate W7 GAY - it made me laugh hehe

Always feel sorry for the new car owner who arrives on collection day to find CUM written on their plate. You just can't avoid that one, it just shouts at you.

Bought my OAF plate deliberately - I like that it implies dullardness...smile
