So i let my friend drive my pride & joy! - not a gd Idea
Discussion
As the heading says,
I let my friend drive back from goodwood - (super car sunday) last weekend and this is what happened:

I wanted to know if any one else has been in the same situation.... it also made me think about looking at taking cars out for test drives.
should you setup a contract before letting someone drive your car?
what are your thoughts?
Mod note: Let's not make this an ad, eh?

It's got a small dent in the wing FFS.
Fix it and move on or hand in your man badge at the door, you big Jessy!..
In times of crisis ask yourself. What would Ed do?
Of course the less scrouples would have been a little creative in the insurance claim.
But as you have plastered it all over t'internet, you have blown it.

Oh and the circumstances remind me of a mate who asked another mate (not insured) to drive his car home as he was too hammered. He then nodded off, then woke up some time later upside down hanging out of his seat belt, having just jumped a hedge and landed in a field. Oh how we laughed

Hi everyone on this large motoring forum. I'm a new member - oh look, here's a link to the car I'm selling.
Sad that you bumped the car, but it seriously reads like a advertising thread

This is not a plug for the car far from it.
You'll have to forgive us being cynical but the eBay link is completely unnecessary for the story.FWIW I've been in exactly that situation when a friend crashed my Caterham on the day I collected it. Being a decent bloke he fixed it and we are still good friends to this day.
