I've wanted one for a long time, and this one is in the right colour, spec and budget.

The only thing putting me off is the annual RFL cost, but I'm sure I can get over this. Insurance, servicing etc I've checked over and its all very pleasant smile

In this day and age, am I nuts to do this?

You're thinking of spending £13k on a car that'll average what, 15mpg and you're concerned about £400 a year road tax? laugh

You want to spend £13,000 on a V8 powered Coupe with all the costs that entails and the one thing that worries you is...

.... the ROAD TAX?

In this day and age you're nuts to be a petrolhead. But given everyone here is stuck with the affliction we might as well make the most of it.

Get it bought. smile

There's a chap on here from the Yorkshire bit, comes to meets, nice guy. He is, politely, a middle age man. One would expect him to probably enjoy fishing or something.

He has one of these with the rudest exhaust you will ever hear, electronically switchable from 'thats a bit tasty' to 'straight through pipe armageddon'. It is absolutely splendid. Complete hooligan, it is so ridiculously noisy and awesome.

Buy it.

This is the reason I have a TVR as my daily driver, who knows how long it will be sustainable.

Do it!
