Look at the spec though, have you seen how much a race car costs?

anyone that pays 60k for it never mind 260k needs to be sectioned

get a standard GT-R and spend the other £200k on a double garage extension

Well IF someone was about to build a monster spec R35 to that sort of spec and styling, then there is every chance that it may be 'good value for money' as opposed to building your own to the same spec.

that said, it is an awful lot of money on top of a £30k base car. they are also clearly charging a premium for 'world record breaker' (for a couple of days, ahem!!!)

Not debating that its had a fortune spent on it...but can you honestly choose something like this over an exotic?? And who in their right mind is going to place a £50k deposit !!!!!

Reading the advert it looks like you can spec the exterior and interior to your own choice.

Considering an AMS Alpha 10 is circa $65k to run a low 9 sec 1/4 mile this thing is easily 100-125k over priced.

Sorry, thought you meant a proper Ultima GTR not a Datsun. As you were.

IMO the name 'Hulk' would be more appropriate if it looked very standard outside but kept the engine bay as it is with the green

Think they'll be very very lucky to break the 100k mark whatever colour it is tho

Its obviously had a lot of time and effort put into it...And as the advert says the car will be sprayed inside and out to the new owners spec.....£260k may seem a lot but think of the hours and effort that is buying !!!!

Perhaps somebody who doesn't want an "exotic" car. Not my cup of tea but then neither are the vast majority of modern exotic cars either.

I don't think I'd want this particular car at that price, but I'd buy something modified over a similarly priced exotic... Quick example without doing my homework: 700bhp GTR or bog standard F430?
