I was driving the wifes 120d this afternoon and a guy in audi a3 was tailgating me REALLY close with practically half his car over the white lines most of the time he finally cut me up using a buss lane and proceeded to cut up a couple of other cars further up the road, ironically about a mile further down the road he hadn't got any where any quicker as ended up pulled up next to him at a set of lights where he gave me a evil look lol.

Anyway he booted it off the lights again and is quite a good distance ahead of me (im not racing btw)when all of a sudden a huge cloud of smoke comes out his exhaust and he slows to a stop and gets out with his hands on his head lol

My friend who was in the car at the time said lets pull over and offer him a hand for the lulz, i pulled over and we both had an uncontrollable grim on our faces there was steam pissing out the bonnet and oil leaking all over the road, we didn't get out just stared for about 30 seconds and drove off.

Should we have got out and offered help?

No, you should have laughed for longer, possibly pointing at the same time, and preferably taken a video and some pictures to put on the internet.

Not sure about helping but I'd have got out and offered a push or something else fairly useless like a spanner.

You didnt do enough piss taking in my view,....

You should have done 10 to 15 laps past him screaming with laughter from your window, just to let him know how happy he made you feel....

BTW, looking forward to the pics......

Had he kept a safe distance and driven normally yes absolutely, I'd even have given him a business card and offered to get it recovered and fixed wink

Under the circumstances? Nah, bks to him. He deserved it wink

Very surprised at an Audi driver acting that way. They're usually so kind and considerate.

I wouldn't have helped him. I certainly wouldn't have 'been the bigger man'.
It was an opportunity to be very childish and I would have embraced that opportunity.

Reminds of of the time this civic type r in front of me tailgating the car in front of him for a good couple of miles, not sure if the car in front brake tested him or what but the next thing i know he went straight into the back of him.

Bro story cool? biggrin

I wouldn't have stopped and helped, if he is willing to drive like a tool. Let him deal with it on his own.
