De Tomaso up for sale
Discussion
Now I didn't even know they still made cars, I thought they had gone a long time ago. I consider myself pretty clued up on the car industry and I just wasn't aware. I guess that's why they are up for sale eh?

How much do you think it's worth? Are there any assets worth having for another manufacturer?

Some rich bloke bought the rights and figured he could start it all back up, he counted his chickens many times before they hatched, and in the end never got the essentials sorted. They made a few prototypes, one of them driven by the rich bloke in question.
Unless FGA buys the brand and slowly bumpstarts it with something like a Pantera very much based on a maserati or something, it is dead.

60million euros?
Hope they are saved by someone who isn't a crook or German.
I wonder if Victor Muller is speaking to his russian buddy as we speak, dragging dead horses seems to be his thing, he sort of ticks the crook box though, there must be something fishy going on there.Hope they are saved by someone who isn't a crook or German.

900 staff??
What else did they do? 900 isn't a realistic workforce for developing a new car unless you are a major manufacturer with a serious budget.
900 is fine for the volume they'd be looking at on a single car, I think. What else did they do? 900 isn't a realistic workforce for developing a new car unless you are a major manufacturer with a serious budget.
