mondeo st220focus st the right thing???

just asking for opinions really. ive had my 03 plate st220 in performance blue for 5 years in june and due to my partner working for a motor dealer im seriously considering looking to buy a focus st, am i doing the right thing? i have had 5 years of very pleasurable driving the mondy and it has served me very well. ive loved it that much i dont even think im gonna p/x it im just gonna stick it in my garage for 20 years (possibly)!! so what do you thinkl chaps should i go for it? im looking towards a budget of 7500--8500 and want either a blue or orange focus.

Hmmm, not sure really - how much of an upgrade would it be?

Both sound good, look good, are quick, similar specs...

I would guess the FST will be a little quicker and a little more nimble, but the ST220 will be a better cruiser, more comfy and spacious. Also, the FST is probably worse on fuel - isn't the ST220 a V6, the FST is a 2.5T, and fairly thirsty.
The FST has no cruise control - hated that on mine, a car of that spec should have it - yep shoot me down, but that's my view.
Not a huge upgrade, a different animal though.
