A friend of mine has around 7K to spend on his next car, he wants a "sporty" car. He isn't the most confident driver of talented when pushing on a TVR Chimaera (and anything else unassisted) was thrown out the window (not that this mean he is safe but it is a help)....

So far our Shortlist is :

Z4 3.0
350Z
S2000

Rx8's havn't been ruled out yet, even I want to drive one again to see if I still dislike them.

What would you choose ?

We think we have covered everything but any suggestions welcome smile

I'll definitely go for S2000 and 350z comes close next. Z4 is ok but needs to be the M to be exciting enough.

RX7

Standard they have enough grunt to be fast, but arent massively torquey so aren't tail happy and have a great chassis with superb feedback.

M3! If he could stomach the running costs. Out the ones you mentioned I would go for the 350z.

rolleyes

The M is a completely different beast, yes, but the 3.0i still has more than enough poke to be fun.
