TVR Tuscan weird rear lights

Was behind a TVR Tuscan today, I never realised the indicators were built into the rear window!

He wasn't showing any brake lights though, when he kept braking. Where would these have appeared and is this the famous TVR build quality in action

The brake lights are the outer two circles on the bottom of the car. They are very hard to see in bright sunlight imo, and the positioning doesn't help either.
