Contract hire RS3
Discussion
Getting on for new company car time. While having a little look, came across this RS3 offer.
Must be a mistake, Or a dodgy website?

I understand why people do it, but i just couldn't bring myself to hand over over ten and a half grand to drive an S3 for 2 years, then give it back. Especially as I could only drive it 3 or 4 days a week, without going over the mileage allowance.
yep the millage allowance on this is the killer, its probably not such a good deal unless you are doing less than 8k a year anywaybut you get to rag the living daylights out of it and hand it back care free at the end

Would that be the same if you were paid a car allowance that covered the monthly costs?walsh said:
My allowence is around £350. Which would just about cover the leese. Not the insurance, and i'd take a hit on the milage too. Friend of mine managed 21mpg over the time he had his (15 months or so)...
I quite like the S4 Avant costs there, quite competitive maybe next time I will go for one on lease rather than PCP. 350 is my allowance too.Dave Hedgehog said:

May I ask why you think that is a good idea? I have seen on many of your posts that you reply to, that is your standard responce.
I am not trying to catch you out, but I would like to see the logic regarding that. Just because you are the first keeper of the car does not entitle you (IMO) to just 'rag' it day in day out. What would the next couple of owners think if they knew you had ragged it from day one. Would you be pleased to find your car had been treated in the manner in which you treat yours.
It may be just me, but if I were to own any contract hire car/van I would treat it just like any other car.

And i reguarly rag the s
t out of my cars. That's what they're for.your paying a premium for the car, taking a big hit in payments / depreciation, get the most for your money
