ford pinto,distributor

Hi, can anyone help?? I have just changed my 1300 xflow in my locust kit car for a 2litre pinto.But it wont start,
Can anyone tell me how to wire the distributor it is a bocsh contactless dizy with two wires out of it a purple and orange it also has a place fo a spade connector (earth)

I take it it's from a sierra? do you have the amp as well?
this is all i can find, i think the wire colours changed on differant vehicals so that is a transit loom hense the differant colours.
