There will never be enough retirement homes, with more and more of the population getting older.

They are in a leased property .... Which comes with risks such as this. I have no strong personal feelings towards this.

I'm sure they could find some space at the F1 factory (and that might be the plan anyway).

exactly unless the OP knows of some impending change in GOV policy that will lead to aa cull of all old people in homes ???

This would be a real shame, and seems a bit ridiculous if it does go ahead. You'd think that local businesses would lose out if 'tourists' or customers stopped going to the showroom. I'm assuming Caterham would probably just relocate the to the factory?

Still...seems like there's a pretty strong feeling from the local residents so with a bit of luck...

I have to say, it's quite nice to see such support for a car company in this day and age, especially one which makes toys. You can almost expect people to come out with things like 'good ridance. They're noisey, too fast, dangerous and wake everyone up in the village. AND they kill the environment'.
