Hotel near Nurburgring

We're doing the Greenhell Triathlon round the Nurburgring next month and am looking for a hotel recommendation from anybody.

We get to cycle the circuit three times, should be fun and give a different experience from doing it in a car.

Try the Hohe Acht. I stayed there twice last year. Both times I was impressed with the place. It's basic, but is clean, cheap, good food and drink, friendly staff who speak great English and only 5 minutes drive from the ring.

Without the use of google, i cannot remember the name of the hotel ive stopped in!

Its on the back straight of the 'new' circuit...

Got woken up one sunday morning to the sound of a V-twin honda vtr vibrating the windows. Was nice hotel though and the garage underneath was packed full of exotic machines.

It's next door to the castle.

Am Tiergarten (pistenklause is their restaurant), 0.5km from Nordschliefe entrance

My missus booked here today as it is really close to the finish of the race so she doesn't have far to walk and most importantly because they were the only ones able to provide a cot for the baby!

I'll second the Ringhaus, stayed there twice now and is very good value for money and very close to the track
