Registered Owner Question

Can anyone tell me ,does a change of registration to a private plate show up as another previous owner on the V5 ?

In otherwords if a car has had 3 owners and say 2 of them have put the car onto a private plate would this show up as 5 owners ?

I have been given conflicting answers on this and would very much appreciate a definative one !

But what it can do is make doing an HPI more complicated (well that's what I've found)

Accident damaged on Plate XYZ 123 and then restored to original A123 ABC plate and accident history is lost in HPI
