Thats's a little depressing.

By those prices, my fill up would have been just over £49 this morning as opposed to the £89 I actually paid.

Petrol and diesel have gone done 5p a litre in the past few weeks. Unleaded is about 130p if you use one of the "spend £50" vouchers in your local supermarket.

Heck, our local filling station/Spar shop was doing 10p a litre off if you spent £20 in the shop!

I just had a google and there are several that need a bit of work starting from £10k!

I could sell my place, buy that and live comfortably for the next twenty years on the profits. That was a potentially life changing google.

ASDA dropped to 136.7p on Friday 4th May, then again to 134.7p last week and tomorrow Morrisons are dropping the price to 132.9p

A price war is clearly under way and this is a good thing, given a few weeks ago you'd struggle to find anywhere to buy it for less than 140p

But the price of oil has dropped about 15% from its Feb high, so should come down a few more pence yet

The Spar is the cheapest on the 50 mile journey between my house and my parent's house anyway. So, it makes you wonder the markup the other non-supermarket stations are putting on, when they're 5-8p dearer than the Spar.

Local chippy to me still does a lunchtime deal - one of those square burger boxes of chips for 50p. Good chips too.
