was on radio 2 earlier yesterday about the fact that the goverment want or are aiming for all electric vehicles by 2050 so plan on phasing out the internal combustion engine as we know it.


now if they do this they will lose billions of pounds in tax revenue on fuel duty, so in order that they do not lose this money they are aiming at lots of extra road tolls, pay per mile and basically all other dreaded means to clamp down on the innocent motorist so they do not use their revenue.

thing is you can bet your bottom dollar that these things will happen in next few years so there revenue will probably double or triple plus youll still be paying top dollar for fuel untill a suitable non petrol based engine is built

just another example of our robbing greedy goverment, and no doubt europe as a whole will all fall inline with this
they wont be happy untill all cars are off the road then theyll tax you heavy on other forms of transport such as horse, pushbike etc

Well... They've got to get the money from somewhere!!

Also, what has this got to do with Cerberas, other than something to be aware of if you're thinking of keeping your Cerb for the next 40yrs???

nothing directly to a cerbera in all fairness as will affect all big powered cars.
it just annoys me so ranting off about it....they wont be happy untill all big cc cars are off the roads and this will have a knock on affect with what the cars are worth in near future if this all goes ahead
