I've got a couple of weeks off and want to have a day out with the old man.
Ideally something on a weekday although weekends could work.
Ideally something where we can hire & drive a car, probably circuit based.
We're in Gloucestershire (near Castle Combe, but didn't see any events other than bring your own vehicle type things).
Not too expensive - couple of hundred quid?
Thoughts? Cheers.

Not a driving experience, but you could pop down the M5 to the Haynes Motor Museum? They do good teacakes.

Much as I'd like to high 5 him while spit roasting a local strumpet, I think he'd rather not. But thanks.

I'm 60 this year. My son is 17 we are going to do the James bond bungee jump at the Verzasca dam in Switzerland. Might be going in a tvr, it's a weekend rather than a day out though. We used to go to legoland :-)

Merc World at Brooklands do some driving experiences - Might find something there in budget and take in the Museum too.

Er, what? Isn't it at the end of June? And runs Thursday to Sunday?
