Do you ever look out onto your driveway and think...
Discussion
Yeah, i made the right choice/choices (plural for those lucky enough to own more than one car)
I have, on occasion, gazed out the lounge window and thought.. "my, what a fine machine".. I refer of course to my VXR8... OK not a 599GTO, which is my favorite Ferrari, but i love the look of the VXR8 plus i know whats under the bonnet and that fantastic noise it makes.
Getting a bit misty eyed lol.

Yes, although my car is in the garage so I can't actually see it. I know that for the time, the budget, the purpose for the car, it was going to be a hot hatch. I knew I wanted something NA, and slower in a straight line than my Cupra R, and I needed to be able to find and test drive one quickly. I know it was the right car, love it to bits.
Nope, I've nothing fun left - I see a 4x4 that's pure daily-driven white goods on wheels (though I still like it a lot), and a crap driveway that needs resurfacing.
Thankfully I'm on the cusp of a house purchase on the other side of the pond, and there'll be 2 vehicles I absolutely love littering the driveway, so it's a short term sacrifice

Sometimes I look out with a feeling of dread after a big bill for parts, or when i'm putting some work off.
At the moment iv'e got two of my dream cars and they are both taxed, mot'd and insured after a long struggle, so im pretty happy with them at the moment.
That might change when they need more work doing

I look out on my petrol 4x4 and think, God that needs taxing in 2 weeks. I look at my sweet velocity red MX5 and just smile.....then I get to thinking how it really is not practical for my life and as it has constantly rained this summer, that a soft top is not really anything more than me hanging onto a dream.....
I like them both, but know a new diesel Japanese or Korean SUV will likely replace them both one day.
Then I tell myself not to be so spoilt and to just enjoy what I have now.

I always think the block paving needs jet washing. The last guy who extended it told me not to though as it was washing away the sand.
Don't you peasants have garages?
I might be wrong, but I don't think my car could fit into my room, plus I'd never get it upstairs anyway Don't you peasants have garages?
