Daft what car...
Discussion
Ok, so may be adding a second car next year. Criteria are, neither myself, nor the OH need to drive. This will mainly be for me, as we have the Disco as a family car. Needs to be interesting, capable of carrying a couple of jerry cans, not Italian, and, that's about it I suppose. Probably less than 3000 miles/year. New or used. Did I say not Italian?

Price? Well, a new Defender 110 County Utility Wagon is top of the list, and retails around £27k.
A 355?!? Italian, and I don't think i could fit a couple of jerry cans in the boot.
Also on the rather eclectic list are a 968 Clubsport, and a Fabia VRS (highly impressed by a mates car).

Why not Italian though? A Maserati 4200 would be a lovely thing to run as an occasional car.
As would a V12 DB7. Or be a bit less adventurous and play it safe with a 911. 996 Turbo, C4 S or a 993 C2 perhaps. 928 GTS or 850CSi to think about also.
None of which are necessarily any less likely to land sizeable bills than any Italian performance machinery.
