Which Colour - Help!

OK, so in the scale of things this is not a big problem, but I can't make my mind up and the wife is equally indecisive.

I've ordered a new company car for November - It's a Skoda Superb Estate in Elegance spec with optional sunset glass. Unfortunately it is a miserly Greenline II which means that although top of the range trim wise it still gets tiny naff alloys.

So colour;

I want a metallic, and have dismissed black & silver immediately.

My initial choice would be cappucino, but having seen it on a couple of Fabias it may be a little insipid?

Other favourites are; steel grey (yawn?), amethyst purple (a bit girly?) or storm blue (a bit sporty considering the teeny weeny wheels?).

Trouble is you don't see many Superb estates on the road and the colour guide above is a bit crap really.

So what does PH think? Please reply with your preference as I'd like to see what if any consensus forms.

Well an image on an LCD screen is never going to match the paint in different lights, but that Pacific Blue looks properly lovely.

Love this colour, but sadly only available as part of the L&K pack (which I've not specced as it's about £3k extra!).

Pacific Blue looks lovely on there I do agree, but it's a none metallic, and not so great in the metal (I have a very similar colour on my Tiguan now).

Rosso Brunello does look good too.

Interior will be black by the way.

Small alloys are good for wafting. The awful performance of the 1.6D would bother me more than the alloys.

It is not an inspiring range of colours but generally Suberb estates look best in light metallic colours in my opinion.

What about Regency Green (metallic) then! A few reasons ; The car is a 'Greenline', it's not yours to sell on after (so no problems there),it will be quite rare and green is a Skoda colour!

Don't mind the alloys that much really, just aware that they look less sporting (though the car is far from that!).

The engine capacity bothered me too, but I found it fine on a decent test drive. I tend to waft about anyway in my current car (which is no faster really) and I am looking forward to the comfort and toys of the Skoda.

I have the wifes car and my bike to blast about when wafting becomes boring

Regency green... I'll have to google for a decent image I think.

Me too, although the brown is quite nice too.

Same here. It's the only colour there with abit of life/character to it. I'd wager that over 90% of these cars would be some shade of black, silver or grey. So having that red would be a nice change.
